The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means sassa to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
